An application to renew the approval of a surface water and groundwater withdrawal and water exportation project to supply up to 229.4 million gallons per month (mgm) (7.4 million gallons per day [mgd]) of surface water from six existing reservoirs and for public water supply to municipalities located in the Delaware River Basin (DRB) and Susquehanna River Basin (SRB). The applicant exports up to 1 mgd (31 mgm) of water from the DRB to its service areas and wastewater treatment plants located in the SRB. The requested surface water allocation is an increase to the surface water allocation of 180 million gallons per 30 days (6 mgd) approved in the previous DRBC docket. The surface water reservoirs are located on Indian Run, Wolf Creek, Kauffman Run, Pine Run, Mud Run and an unnamed tributary to Mill Creek, all tributary to the Schuylkill River in Branch, New Castle, Ryan and Blythe Townships in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
